Trust. There are many things I don't know in my life, and in fact more often than not- the ones I feel led to act on are those that require more trust I am ever able to conjure up on my own. I find it amazing that I am able to ask my Father for the ability and grace to trust Him. How insane is that, He provides it. There are a lot of thoughts and great quotes that are stirring in my mind at this time in my journey, that His kindness leads to repentance, that we plan our steps and He decides the course.
It seems that my plans for this year have changed. As my mom has battled many health issues, I have heard the leading to go back to the states for this year. I know, bit of a shock huh? Well, me too- however as a great Brazilian pastor once shared with me, when He tells you to sit- don't look for a chair! So, I am headed back to the states for a yearish and help my mom get in a place where she can dream again. There's a lot I don't know, not sure about where I will work, although I've long dreamed of being a barista so I am hoping that may work out. Holding plans loosely and trusting Him.
I am eager to do my training for Asia Connect this next Jan-Feb, and believe that He is doing a new work in my heart- and calling me to hope and believe in things I'm not sure will ever come to prosper. For me, dreaming and hoping is a huge refreshment to my soul, huge healing. And, I'm happy to say I have no idea what it will be- however I trust Him. Feel free to email me with thoughts- I'm eager to finish this year well with E and his family. And, no I haven't started thinking about what it will be like away from them, and my amazing community. I want to stay fully here, soaking in every moment- and spend the 12+ hour plan ride shifting into this next season.
That's my update- much love!!!
